Wonderworks
Wonder works at Wonderworks -- and it starts with the eye-popping building of a research laboratory that is upside down in front of the Pointe Orlando shopping center. Over 100 hands-on exhibits like earthquake and hurricane simulators, virtual blue-screen games and more make this a science museum for the 21st century.
TIPS -- Unless a school group is there (early on weekdays) the place shouldn't be too crowded. A pizzeria restaurant and a magic dinner show are also offered -- with discounted admission to the show if you pay for the museum. While you may find coupons offering a few bucks off in the many area free coupon books your best bet is ordering the Orlando Entertainment Book. It includes "Buy One, Get One Free" coupons for admission to Wonder Works as well as the laser tag game inside.

DIRECTIONS -- Wonderworks resides at 9067 International Drive. Park in the Pointe Orlando complex and, well, you can't miss the building. Down I-4 get off at the Sand Lake Road exit and take a Right at International Drive. You'll see it a few blocks down on your left.
