Wet and Wild
While lacking the themed splendor of Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, this water park gives the people what they want -- a lot of slides. From cutting edge flushbowl plunges to a daring steep capsule bomber, Wet n Wild earns its name.
TIP -- Because of its location right across from Universal Orlando, it's more of a local water park. In other words, if you want to avoid the crowds try to go on a weekday while school is in session. The new rides always tend to have the longest lines so be on the lookout. New in 2005 will be H2Disco, a bowl type slide where rafters will wrap up their journey with a swirling ride in an enclosed bowl with disco lights and music playing.
