Gatorland
Since 1949, Gatorland has been thrilling visitors before the area became a theme park oasis with live gator feedings, gator wrestling and swamp hikes. Despite its rustic theme the entire park is quite safe and it is more than just a one-tick pony. Yes, the Gator Jumparoo -- where alligators leap out of the water for their supper dangling on a rope -- is the highlight on the boardwalk but there is more to the park than that.
Take a stroll along the cypress in the 2,000 foot wooded boardwalk in the swamp. Cool off at Lilly's Pad water play area. Hop on the miniature railway for a train ride around the park. Watch live gator wrestling three times a day! Feeling brave and hungry? How does gator nuggets or gator ribs sound? No, this isn't your typical Orlando area attraction. In many ways, you will be grateful for that.
